Lit By Lantern

Reflective Coaching and Guided Narrative Practice.

Stories as a Way Through

Reflective writing and guided narrative sessions for people navigating change, burnout, grief, identity shifts, or the need to reconnect with themselves through story.

Sometimes we do not need to force clarity. Sometimes we need a place to listen

Lit by Lantern offers narrative medicine and writing sessions for people who want to explore their lives, experiences, and inner world through reflection, story, and guided writing. These sessions are designed to help you slow down, notice what is asking for attention, and give language to what may feel tangled, unspoken, or difficult to hold alone.

This is not about writing perfectly or creating polished work. It is about using story, reflection, and thoughtful prompts as a way to process, witness, and understand what you are carrying.

Whether you are moving through burnout, transition, loss, creative disconnection, or a season of change, these sessions offer gentle structure and compassionate support for putting words to your experience.

Who Lit by Lantern is For

What You’ll Leave With

By the end of a session, you may leave with:

  • Greater clarity around what you are experiencing

  • Language for something that previously felt hard to name

  • A deeper understanding of your own story, patterns, or emotions

  • Reflection prompts or writing pathways to continue with

  • A sense of being witnessed, grounded, and gently reconnected to yourself

Sometimes the outcome is clarity. Sometimes it is relief. Sometimes it is simply the feeling that something inside you has finally been given room to speak.

Lit by Lantern sessions may be a good fit if you are:

  • Moving through burnout or emotional exhaustion

  • Navigating a life transition or identity shift

  • Grieving something named or unnamed

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself, your creativity, or your inner voice

  • Longing for reflective space that feels thoughtful and human

  • Wanting to process experience through writing, even if you do not consider yourself “a writer”

  • Looking for a guided, story-centered practice of reflection and care

These sessions are for people who want to explore what their stories might reveal when given time, attention, and language.

My Approach

Hello!

My approach is calm, compassionate, and reflective. I believe stories matter not only because they are beautiful, but because they help us live with more awareness and care.

Lit by Lantern is not about pushing for transformation on a deadline. It is about making room for reflection, listening closely, and allowing insight to emerge in its own time.

These sessions are designed to feel thoughtful, safe, and human. There is no pressure to perform, produce, or explain yourself perfectly here.

Important Note:

Lit by Lantern sessions are reflective and writing-based in nature. They are not therapy, medical treatment, or crisis care. They can be a meaningful complement to personal reflection, healing work, or supportive care, but they do not replace licensed mental health or medical services when those are needed.
